How to delete prior words from the dropd'n "Look For" search list

The search field Look For has mis-spelled and needless prior search
words...How do you delete on or all of the DropDown words? Is it stored
somewhere? Delete or Rt-Click doesn't seem to do anything.

No, there's nothing you can do except search for more items. Eventually the
misspelled items will fall off the list.

No, there's nothing you can do except search for more items. Eventually the
misspelled items will fall off the list.

Looks like a successfully primative design, excluding almost all PC users
and only convenient for PC users whose experience includes RegEdit 'Fun' or
'Paid-Fun'..also called Work. Fortunately, my first DOS was 2.3 and now I
know what next to do with all my spare time. Great answer to my problem...I
knew I wasn't the first or only one staring at this inadequacy. Thanks
