Click the white arrow on the drawing toolbar (select objects). Then put
the cursor (arrow) on the top left of the area where the objects are
and click and hold left mouse button. Then drag the cursor across the
area, making a box covering all the objects. When you release the
mousebutton, all the objects should be marked and you can delete them.

Hi Ron,
you should be able to select them all in one go by first clicking on
the selection arrow that is on the Drawing tool bar, then starting off
anywhere on the sheet that is above and to the left of all the shapes,
left click (hold down mouse button) then drag to the right then down so
that the selection rectangle (dotted lines) contains all of the shapes
to be deleted. Each selected shape will then have visible handles and
pressing the delete key will delete them.
If the Drawing toolbar is not visible then go View>Toolbars>Drawing.
The selection arrow is just to the right of the Draw button.

You can also customize the Drawing toolbar to add the Select Multiple
Objects toolbar button. Clicking it will open a little dialog box
listing all the shapes on the worksheet, and it lets you select them
all in a single click.

To add the button, right-click on any toolbar and click "Customize ..."
from the bottom of the pop-up. A dialog will open - click the Commands
tab. Select "Drawing" from the "Categories" list and you'll see the
"Select Multiple Objects" command on the right. Click on it a drag it
down your your toolbar.

Thanks for that one Nick! I didn't know about that. It will be very
useful.
