Windows XP has a feature that remembers pretty much
everything you type, internet sites visited, e-mail
addresses, etc. Well sometimes it is embarrassing to
have someone else use your computer and "see where you've
been", right? Does anyone know how to erase remembered
text that you want the computer to FORGET? (For gosh
sakes) Thanks,

Rich

You need to be more specific. Which typed text do you want to clear? There
are different places and settings depending on what you actually want to get
rid of.

I gess you are talking about Internet Explorer. This feauture is called
AutoComplete, and can be disable as follow:
Open internet explorer, go to tools then internet options. Choose the
Advanced tab and look for a checkbox that says AutoComplete and uncheck the
box.

This instructions are for Internet Explorer 6, I don't know which version
you have, but it should be pretty close no matter which version you are
using.
