How to delete background from Letter Wizard- Word 2003

How can I delete the background image from the letter wizard to have only a
blank sheet and no "world" and stuff?
 
The "world" and stuff are probably anchored to the header. View | Header and
Footer, select the graphics and other content, and delete.
