How to delete a stuck message?

D

Dumb Bunny

There is one message in my Inbox which will not allow me to delete it.
Whenever I attempt to do this a message reding "AN unknown error has
occured".
Anyone any suggestions on how to overcome this?

My thanks to the responses to this msg. that have been posted already.
(Incidently, I do not ever have Preview pane running.)
I am pleased to report, however, that by means of opening and closing the
rogue entry and also going in and out of it's properties I was finally able
to delete it without the need for any further drastic action. PWEW! (big
sigh of relief)

This used to be a "known problem" and there is a fix from MS.[1]
It was fixed with SP1. Could it be that you do not yet have SP1? If so,
t would be high time to make your system up-to-date!

An alternative would be to use Steve Cochran's WMUtil.[2]

For those who don't know German, 'richtig' means 'correct'.
