How to delete a stored email address when only one exists?

After deleting a name from Contacts, a stored email address still exists
somewhere. If there are more than one entry that begin the same, a drop-down
list will appear and you can delete the bad address. BUT if only one such
listing exists, no drop-down list opens, and there is no way to delete the
bad address. Is there a fix? Is there an accessible file of such listings
that I can edit? Outlook 2002/2003.

Does anyone have an answer to this problem? Thanks in advance.

You mean the drop down list that appears as you type in the To field? Even
if there's only one item, you should still be able to hit the delete key
when the list drops down.

If that's not what you're talking about, could you explain a little more
what you are talking about? Maybe with the steps you take to reproduce the
problem?

Locate & rename the nk2 file

Which would be great if he wanted to get rid of *all* the addresses, but I
somehow doubt that's what he wants to do....
