how to delete a network connection

I replaced my Intel AnyPoiny LAN with a wireless. I removed the AnyPoint
software using the Add/Remove Programs panel. The AnyPoint adapter is still
in the computer.

When I go to Control Panel > Network Connections and left click on the
AnyPoint connection that I want to remove the delete option shows in grey and
it does not delete.

How can I delete this Local Area Connection?

I found the solution. I removed the adapter and the network no longer shows
in Netwroo Connections.
