I'm not sure if this'll work for you, but this kind of hyperlink worked for me
in MSWord:

C:\My Documents\excel\book1.xls#sheet2!c99

I am a newer user to excel, and i would really like to try your idea but i am
a little lost lol.. if you could maybe give me alittle more detailed example
i would sure be thankful.. thanks benny

I'm not Michael, but when I read his response, I thought he interpreted your
"front page" reference as the first worksheet in the workbook.

I thought you meant Microsoft's "Front Page":
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/

If you really meant just another worksheet in excel, then select the cell that
should hold the hyperlink and hit ctrl-k (or insert|hyperlink).

You should be able to follow the dialog from there.

well thats what i thought i did.. in fp i click insert hyperlink, then i
select the excel file this is what my link looks like:
...\..\BENNY.xls#sheet1!m20 the link works it opens the excel document but
it goes to like cell ae20.. so what am i doing wrong??
