how to customize data type for percentage

I selected the data type as number and the format as percentage... but when I
write 20% it comes out 2000%. How o I make that to show only 2 places
instead of 4?

Type .2 for 20 percent.

Or store the nominal value of 20 and manipulate by dividing by 100 when
you need the percent value for calculations.
