How to create a rule to move all e-mail from a single source to a folder?

NormanHeyen

I've got a case where I get several newsletters from a single soruce.
I would like to create a rule that will take any email from the same
domain and move it to a single folder.

For instance, if I want to take all email fro anyone at abc.com and
move it to the ABC folder, how do I do this? Is setting the From field
to *@abc.com acceptable?

Thanks!

type just the domain part - to do something with all messages from
Microsoft, the rule will use microsoft.com in the from field.

Thank you! Of course I'll need to wait until I get more newsletters,
but this is what I was looking for. Funny how I couldn't find that in
the help.

NormanHeyen

I'm using Outlook XP and when I try to enter just a domain in the from
field, it looks up the address in my Contacts list, says there isn't
one and isn't happy until I create a contact for it. Is there a way
around this? Doesn't make sense to fill up my contacts list with a
bunch of nonexistant entries. I mean a contact called Microsoft isn't
very useful.

Thanks again!

Norman
