How to create a Merge Command Button

I would Like to know how to create a merge button. I would
like to have several options on a form and each of those
options linked to a certain documents. Options meaning
check mark boxes to choose from. When I choose a Option
(Sherrif as an example) I would like to be able to create
a merge command that would excecute the merge on the
specific document. I would also like for it to be able to
run multiple merges at the same time if I select more that
1 option. If I am in the wrong Newsgroup please direct me
to the right one. Thank you in advance.
