I Want to use Acces as a knowledge base for my office. The 255 caracters are
too few for my purpose. Is there a way to solve this?

I use a a product called General Knowledge Base. I've found it
to be quite adequate. It isn't free but at 49.95 per user it isn't
real expensive. They also have fees for multiple licenses.
