lets say you have your column header in A1, B1, C1 etc... and ro
headers in A2, A3, A4 etc... when you scroll, you would like to be abl
to freeze column A as well as the row 1 (first row and first column). i
this case, you would click on cell B2 and go over to Windows menu an
select Freeze Panes. you can do something similar for your requiremen
by selecting a cell in 5th row (you have not mentioned the column) an
freezing panes

thats great thanks !!!

but now is it possible to have a Row 104 froze at the bottem of th
page ????

many thank

Click in A5, then,
<Windows> <FreezePanes>

Can't do that, but you can insert a row in your headers, at the top, and
copy, paste special, link, the row 104, so that it will display the exact
info at the top that's actually at the bottom.

on one sheet, you can only have 1 instance of a frozen pane (as far as
know). so the answer to you question is, it is not possible to freez
panes again at row 104 once it has been frozen at row 5
