How to create a dockable controlbar for Winforms in VB.Net?

Anyone know of any reference articles to creating a dockable controlbar for WinForms using VB.Net? I am interested in building a floating window that can be docked within the main form of the application if the user chooses. I have seen an article written in C++, but I can't seem to find anything for VB.Net or C#
