How to create a countdown calendar in Outlook?

A

auschick

I want to automate a countdown entry in my Outlook 2007 calendar.

So:
January 26 - 100 weeks until retirement
Feb 2 - 99 weeks until retirement
Feb 9 - 98 weeks until retirement

etc, etc.
Obviously, I don't want to do this manually. I've tried importing a
countdown from Excel using these instructions, but no dice.

What part of the instructions didn't work? It's the easiest method to use.
The most common error is with the named range in step 6. See
http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/import/import.htm for a tutorial for
named ranges.

Hello!

I want to thank the OP for this.
I just had the need to create a countdown today and found this post to be spot on!
I am using Office 2010 and the directions fit perfectly!

Cheers!
