How to copy tables from Word to Powerpoint

When I copy tables from Word 2003 to Powerpoint 2003, some of the table lines
are lost. The best method I've found is to copy the source table to the
clipboard, then use Paste Special, and select Word document format object -
but I still lose several horizontal and vertical lines. Is there a way to
avoid this? Thanks much

Shrink the table in Word (smaller fonts) and then copy it into Powerpoint. It
is best to make most of your changes in Word before putting it into a
Powerpoint presentation. You can add a line that is missing by clicking on
the table and going into the table toolbar menu. It will guide you from
there on how you can add a line. If you have the table toolbar on your
screen, use the table w/pencil icon and draw the line where you want it in
the table.

Hope this helps.
