How to convert from "Notes Pages" to PDF?

I'd like to convert a ppt with extensive notes (in the Notes Pages view) to
PDF. This means keeping the slide at the top of the page, and also the notes
below it. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Print notes pages as you would ordinarily (File, Print, choose Notes Pages in
the "Print what" area, etc) but instead of your default printer, choose Adobe
PDF or Acrobat Distiller, depending on which version of Acrobat you have.
 
But what if the notes related to the slide span to more than the allocated
sapce, how to get the in the PDF file?
