How to Convert FAT to NTFS?

Hi there,

A friend asked me to convert his HD from FAT to NTFS that runs win2k Pro
machine. How do I do that? Do I need a third party software to do so?

- Click Start / Help / Search tab
- Type convert NTFS
- Follow the instructions
 
Thank you all for your responses and now I have the FAT converted to NTFS.
