How to convert excel file into raw format/file?

I would really appreciate if someone could tell me how to
convert excel file into raw file.

Hi Linda
save the Excel file as '*.csv' file. Use the 'SaveAs' dialog for this
 
Perhaps you could define what a raw file is.

If you mean a text file, then for a single sheet you can do File=>SaveAs and
select the appropriate "raw" file format you want.
