How to compare two folders

Folks,
I would like to compare two folders and the contents to determine if there are duplicates...
Does anyone know how I could do this?

You might also try WinMerge, which can compare directories or files;
if files, you can edit the files being compared and copy portions
from one file to another. You can download it free from
