I have an actual sales data source, and budget sales data source, i need to
compare actual vs budget years, is there a way to merge two data source into
one pivot table?

Chances are for what you want to do you are going to have to merge the two
data sources together prior to creating the pivot. MS Access is good for
doing that kind of thing (if you are fimiliar with Access). Otherwise you
will have to create a single data source somewhere in XL (which may require a
bunch of manipulation).

I know very little in access, but I know how to pivot the data from
access data source.

How to combine two excel data file into one access file? Two excel files
have different rows and columns, but contains most same structures.

Thanks, Holly
