How to combine reports into a single report?

Paul

In a form I want to instruct Access to preview more than one reports, so
that when the reports open up, it will appear that the report looks like a
single report and it can navigate using the navigate button and the page
number shown accordingly. For example I have Report 1 with 2 pages and
Report 2 with 3 pages and Report 3 with 1 page. By clicking on a button on a
form, I can preview Report 1, Report 2 and Report 3 in this sequence and the
page number on each of the report. Also "Print" menubar control under the
"File" menu bar, how to instruct Access to print all reports or should I
have a "Custome Built" Print button on the report.

Should I combine all the reports into a single report? But how about the
page number if I have to do this way.....

Thanks

I don't follow what you want for page numbers, but to get
the nav buttons to work that way, you'll have to put those
three report into an unbound main report.

If you have them, the page headers/footers will have to be
dealt with in another way, since the main report provides
that capability.

Hello Marshall:

Sorry I did not make myself clear in terms of the page number. For example
it should show Page 1 of 2 and Page 2 of 2 for report 1, Page 1 of 3, Page 2
of 3 and Page 3 of 3 for Report 2 and so on when navigating the
report...Thanks

Well, you could probably(?) get that to work, but it would
be rather messy and then the nav buttons would say, for
example, that you were on page 4 and the report would have a
different page number. Are you sure this is really worth
all this effort and confusion?
