Is there any easy method of checking which type of CD key you have? With the
various versions of XP (Pro, Home, Retail, OEM, Volume License), surely
someone has come up with a method of determining which type of CD Key one may
have. I already know that I can take a look at the "setupp.ini" on the XP
install CD and find which version the CD is.

Download and run the WGA Diagnostic Tool:

Under the Validation tab, look next to:
"Windows License Type".
