How to check whether MUI is there

my Control Panel - System - General tab reads "Microsoft Windows
XP Professional version 2002 Service Pack 2, v.2135.

I googled and found on ms site that MUI is built-in in XP Pro.

However, I can't change the interface language of my pc.

"Start - All Programs - Microsoft Office Tools - Microsoft
Office Language Setting" asks for Proplus.msi which is not
present in my xp installation CD.

---
Also, my Regional And Language Settings - Language tab is not
having the option to change the interface language. Even that
drop down menu is not appearing that various sites say that it
should be there.

---

What is wrong with my xp installation?

Why is MUI not there in XP Pro?

Why is Proplus.msi not in my installation CD?

Where to find Proplus.msi and other related files which are
needed to install it?

Why is "change interface" not appearing in Language tab? How to
switch it on?

-------

I think I had run a program LIPSETUP.MSI which I had probably
download from bharatbhasha site of microsoft. That had changed
the entire interface to Hindi Language. However, I could not
find the option to switch that back to English, so I had to
uninstall that pack, and now the interface is only in English.

How can I install just Hindi interface, and switch between Hindi
- English through menus, without needing to uninstall it?

No. It's "available" for English XP Pro, but it's a separate product
that is only available under certain volue licenses.

This is a totally different issue, and it's about Office. Go to Office
newsgroup.

Your mixing Windows XP with Microsoft Office. I think Proplus.msi is on the
Office CD.
