In NT, it was easy to check the member's name belonging to a user
group but in XP I couldn't figure out how to view the member's name.
I'm trying to find out if a certain person has the correct permission
which he needs to be part of a certain group. So I'm trying to view
all the members of this user group. Can anyone tell me how? I'm at
user and owner level (not admin).

Thank you,
Sharon

Without being an Administrator level user, you may not be able to see group
membership at all, but you can at least try ...

In XP Pro, go to the Control Panel, and open Administrative Tools, and then
choose the Computer Management icon. Once the program opens, expand the
entry called "Local Users and Groups," and then click on Groups. All groups
will appear in the right-hand pane. Choose the group you wish to view.
