how to change the type of line on an access graph

I have an access database im using at work. It produces a line graph but the
lines are jagged. How can I change them to smooth lines? In excell I can
just click on the line and go to properties then choose smooth but when I go
into design view in access the lines on the graph disapear.
 
Right click on the main area of the chart, select chart type then choose one
of the smooth line options
