How do you change the default encoding setting for IE6? Mine is on Korean and I need it to be set for western.

No...that does not change the default encoding. It is still Korean. Everytime I go to a page, I have to change the encoding manually to western in IE...it is a real pain.

IE .. View .. Encoding .. Change the setting in there to Western
European.
Hope that helps.

Not exactly. That only changes the encoding from the default setting which currently is Korean. Every single internet page I visit I have to manually switch from Korean (default) to western to read the script correctly...it is a REAL pain. I am trying to set the default encoding setting to Western but cannot find out where to do that.

Perhaps you need to reconfigure the keyboard.
