How to Change the Color of the Border Shadow on Button Controls

T

Hey All,

I have been requested to change the back color on various windows forms
which is easy enough to do. However, the shadow border around the control
buttons doesn't work well against the requested forms color. The bottom and
right border in heavy black show up fine but the top and left border are too
light.

Does anyone know how to change or work with the border shadows on these
controls?

Regards,

The Border is Non-Client-Area, so you can either intercept the WM_NCPAINT
messages and paint the border yourself, or take full responsibility for
drawing the control.

You will find examples of Inherited Button Controls on my site, as well as a
Completely Custom Control that Implements the IButtonControl Interface.
