How to change temp folder location

Problematic

I need to change the temp folder location. It is on C:
now like c:\docs and settings\billy\... It uses this
temp folder when opening self extracting files, copying
files and so on. I need to change that location to E:
drive. Any help appreciated. I'm using Windows XP
Professional.

Left-click Propertie
Click the Advanced ta
[Environment Variables
Click TEM
Click [Edit
Change the valu
Click [OK
Click TM
Click [Edit
Change the valu
Click [OK
Click [OK
