I just got new pc and wife must have opened Outlook 2003 before I got a chance to and put her name on it. That said when I try to create a task it has her name as the owner. HOW do I change it to mine. I tried uninstalling it but the original information is still kept when you reinstall. Is there a way to not have her name default as " owner " of the task

Thx
Paul

Create a new mail profile with your information and have her assign the task
to you.

I am sorry I didn't explain this well the first time. How do I delete the all of the previous Outlook 2003 settings and outlook itself including user information. I want to reinstall Outlook 2003 and have any task I create use my name as default

I have uninstalled Outlook 2003 but all of the previous information from Holidays, Email accounts and Task Owner remain upon reinstallation of Outlook.

Thanks Much

Milly answered it - create a new profile (control panel, profile). You can
leave the old profile there or delete it.

You can also just delete the appointments etc and use the current profile -
switch to a table view (by category for example) and delete all of the
items. Or you can close outlook and rename the *.pst and let outlook create
a new one.

Find the Outlook.pst file and rename it to .old.
