Dear al

Just brought a note book that comes that doesn't come with a dedicated display card, therefore using the main memory which I upgraded to 512mb from its original 256mb. Currently is the memory is split into 480mb and 32mb (display). I would like to change the display setting from 32mb to 64mb. Can anyone care to advice me

Sure - we can advise you to read the manual. heh

More than likely what you are looking for has nothing to do with Windows,
but the system BIOS ((System Setup..) - meaning when you boot the laptop
from cold, it likely says to "Press F1.." or "Press DEL.." or "Press F2.."
to enter system setup or system BIOS or something... Do so and look around
in there. You should find what you need there.

If it can be changed, it will be a BIOS setting or a setting in the card
properties in device manager. Typically, if the card is specified as
32MB by the manufacturer or board fabricator, the shared RAM might be
reduced to 16 or 8, but never increased beyond the 32MB.

That will be provided for - if at all - in the BIOS setup at boot, or
other Hardware control provided as a program by the maker.
