How to change label caption?

B

Bob Hughes

I have a label (Name = title) in a report header on my report and want to
change it under certain conditions.
In 2K I use
title.Caption = "New Title"
& it works fine.
When I run the mbe FE file in 2003 I get

the expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user
defined unction or [Event procedure]

What format should I use to change the caption?

Or if you want free assistance from 100s of ethical news group readers, just
ask in the appropriate publid news group.

There is usually no good reason to use fee based help for most questions.
That's why there are public news groups, google group searches, tons of web
resources, MS Knowledgebase articles, etc.

I find postings/replies that fish for clients in the main body very
unethical and against the basic purpose of these news groups.

I expect that 99.9% of us are willing to answer your question for no charge
(the ultimate in "reasonable"). The other 0.1% (my estimate) want to make
money off you.

I have been asking questions in the news groups for quite a few years & in
most instances have got a solution in a couple of days.

On the rare occasion when all the experts are unable to supply me with a
solution for free, I doubt you could do better for a price!

I do thank you for the free solution that you supplied me.
