I took a look at this -- in particluar, changing the comment format.
I understand that the macro might be useful for changing all
comments. But to change just one comment, I would think that clicking
on Edit Comment, then Format Comment should do the trick.

But it didn't! What is wrong?

I select a cell with an existing comment, right-click and click Edit
Comment. I put the cursor into the comment text box, then I right-
click and click Format Comment. The initial font is Tahoma, and the
size is 8.

If I change the size for 16 (something demonstrative!), then click OK,
nothing changes. The same is true if I change the font (e.g. Courier
New).

While that comment text box remains selected, if I go back into Format
Comment, the previous changes are remembered. But if I move to
another cell, then return to edit the previous comment, the format
changes are forgotten.

Bottom line: Format Comment changes do not seem to take effect. Why
not?

This is a spreadsheet that I developed myself. So there should be no
protection or permission issues.

You have not said that you have first selected the text in the Comment before
changing the font.

This is mandatory............not the saying, the selecting<g>

We all miss the obvious at times.

Surprising I noticed you had not selected the text<g>
