How to change address format from "last name, first, (email)" ?

I reinstalled Win XP and changed from Expresss to Outlook 2000 for email. All
my outgoing messages list the receipient with last name, first name,
"(email)" in the "to" window. How can I change this to show a nickname or
first name without the "(email)" tag?

My TOOLS drop box doesn't have "E-Mail Accounts" it has "Email Scan
Properties". Remember, I have Outlook 2000 SR1. I appreciate the suggestion
and I think we are on the right track. What next?

You haven't provided enough information. You must provide complete version
information, including your mail support mode. Look at line 2 of Help |
About if you don't know what version you are using. Turn off Email Scanning,
BTW.
