How to cancel "check out" locking?

I moved a website from an old computer to a new one.
I can open the website on the new computer but some files are locked "<user>
has this file checked out".

How can I unlock those files?

If FP2003, choose Site Settings from the Tools menu, then
on the General tab, clear Use Document Check-In And Check
Out.
