How to bring window with current focus to front

The keyboards that come with Sun workstations have
convenient buttons "front" and "back" that bring the window
with the current focus to the front or back of the screen.
Is there a way to get this type of hotkey feature in
Windows XP? I know about Alt-ESC, but that just cycles
through all the windows until the one you want is on top.
