How to block text for printing that prints in the same position o.

We keep hundreds of chronologically dated "journals" for legal work we do in
our office to which new entires are constantly being added. With
WordPerfect, we were able to type a new entry, block the entry, and print it
directly on the original journal sheet in the same position it would appear
on the page seen on the screen. It was not necessary to calculate the margin
from the top of the page to the entry itself; all that was required were the
two steps: block and print. With Word, if we block and print, the blocked
text always prints out at the top of the printed page. With Word, it appears
that the only way we can get new text added onto an original document in the
right position is to "practice print" page after page adjusting the top
margin until the new text could be "forced" into its proper place, or keep
creating a new original every time an entry is added which would be a huge
waste of our paper resources. Can anyone tell us how to make blocked text
appear in a specific position on an original WITHOUT forcing us to
constantly print sheet after wasted sheet while we try to figure out the size
of the top margin that would allow the new text to be added to follow on the
page beneath earlier entries. Have I made my question clear?

Select all the text on a page that you *don't* want to print and format it
as Font Color: White. Then print the page.
