Jane,
If your PC has XP SP2 installed, or you install the SP2 upgrade, there is a
Pop-Up blocking software included.

In IE> TOOLS> Internet Options> Privacy tab> you can add sites to that will
allow pop-ups for their website pages.

Hi Jane,

If you don't have Windows XP you have to install a third party pop-up
blocker like Quero Toolbar which can not only block pop-ups but also switch
flash-animations on and off.

You can download my free toolbar from
http://www.quero.at/

I welcome your feedback.

regards,

Viktor
