HI,

How do I add a brand new hard drive with XP? The idea is to transfer my
data files to the new drive and use this data in another PC running XP Pro.

The new drive has no partitions. How do I create those partitions?

Thanks
Ramesh

Hi Ramesh,

You could use the Disk Management utility in Windows XP in order to create
and format the partitions on the second hard drive. Go to Start>Run and key
in:
compmgmt.msc
Click on OK or hit ENTER
In the left-hand pane, under Storage, click on Disk Management. In the
lower, left-hand pane, right click on the Unallocated Space for the second
drive, then select Create Partition. Follow any further prompts.

Regards,
