Hi,
I was working in a concern with windows xp machine. my pc was given a static
i.p address and connected to the main server ( i was in a group). Can it
possible to access my pc from anywhere without sending the requet to the
server.

I think you may need VNC on both machines for this, I
really am no expert on this, but with VNC you can pretty
much take control of one machine from the other from I
think anywhere. VNC is a free download over the internet.

I use gotomypc....works great and is transferable

Even "RemotePC" (http://www.remotepc.com/) is a good Remote Control
program. Not only will you be able to access your data remotely, you
will also be able to transfer files. It is very safe and reliable and
works behind proxy servers. It also works behind most firewalls using
RemotePC communication servers without the Host requiring static IP
address.
