How set up Scheduled Task?

I've tried to set up a scheduled task (Norton Live Update) - but can't get
it to run. So I set up Microsoft Word to run (thinking it would be easy) -
but it doesn't run either. However, Norton One Button Checkup runs (it is
set up by Norton when you install Norton System Works). Can someone help me
please?

See if it's running in the services (control panel, admin-
tools,services) if it ain't right click it select
properties, then start, on the pull down in the middle
select automatic, then apply!
