How retrieve personal outlook folders lost since installing 2007

I have just installed office 2007 and I have lost all the personal folders
and emails I had in my old outlook account. I have kept same address and
password so any ideas how I get them back??

Hmm. 2007 should have automatically picked up the existing pst file. (If you
were using POP or IMAP - perhaps you were using Exchange Server?)
If you do File-Open-Outlook Data File do any pst files show up?
 
You mean you upgraded from an earlier version of Outlook?
Within Outlook, check properties of Personal Folders, Advanced tab. Filename
will show the path & name of the current data file, then within Outlook,
File>Open>Data File.....browse to and open your old data file (possibly
outlook.pst, your new file would probably be outlook1.pst)
