How remove Internet provider's logo at top right in Internet Explorer?

My internet provider has succeeded in planting a logo at the top right
of the IE6 window - in line with the drop down menu list (File, Edit,
etc)

I presume that, to get rid of this (it moves and does silly
distracting things), I need to edit the registry in some way. Does
anyone know how to get rid of this nuisance?

Take a look at this article. The "Restore to the default logos"
is what you're looking for.
