How reduce size of address window

Hi,

Somehow (not sure how!) window in address bar, where url is typed, is now
way too wide - almost as wide as screen

How can I decrease the width?

Just grab the handle on the left of the Address Bar and drag it to the
right to make it smaller.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.
