How "Re-send" message to newsgroup?

George

It looks like reading newsgroups is done with Outlook Express 6 (easily
accessed thru IE6 by clicking Tools > Mail and News > Read News).

Is there a way to "re-send" a message? I found ALL of the posts I've made
in the "Sent Items" folder, but the only option to "re-send" that I've found
is to highlight the original message, and click...

a) the ReplyAll button, or

b) right click and then click the ReplyToSender

....but either way I have to edit out all the ">" characters since it thinks
I'm "replying".

Isn't there a "re-send" like in regular Outlook?

Thanks,
George

OE has no resend feature for e-mail or newsgroup posts. Copy & paste
might be easier than having to edit out all the prefix characters that
get added in a reply.

Yes - Outlook can't read news natively.

I don't think so, but you'd be better off asking in an OE group:

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).

A good website for information on OE is:
http://www.tomsterdam.com/
