how much space do i need on a floppy disk to download?

i have been trying to download the new media player10 to a floppy disk and i
get an error message that the i need to insert a higher capacity disk.

You may want to ask this question in a Windows newsgroup; this
newsgroup is for the database program Microsoft Access, not for
general questions like this.

But... a floppy disk typically has room for about 1.2MByte. Windows
Media Player is MUCH MUCH larger than this when you include all the
auxiliary files. If you want to download to a diskette... you can't;
it would be like putting a gallon of milk into a teacup.
