How move OL to a new computer?

K

Ken Woodard

I'm upgrading from Office XP to Office 2003. And,
I'm also moving to a new computer at the same time.

Which should I do first? Should I upgrade OL on the old computer and then
move the .pst files? Or, should I install OL 2003 only on the new computer
and then import some files from the old computer?

I'd be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Just copy the file to your new computer and connect to it by using File->
Open-> Outlook Data File... as importing will loose you your custom views
and forms

Use File-> Data File Management to set the pst as your default delivery
location.

If you want to use the new data format and want to create a file bigger than
2GB then you must create a new file and use import indeed.
