How may I open multiple Outlook windows?

In previous versions of Outlook I have been able to open Outlook in multiple
windows (Inbox in one, Calendar in another, and Task folder in a third) if I
wished. This was a useful feature and all I had to do was click the Outlook
icon and a new window opened (sames *.pst file etc.). Now I seem unable to
open multiple instances, i.e. Windows, for Outlook. Is there a way I can
still do this. If not, can anyone hazard a guess as to why Microsoft would
have eliminated this useful feature? It was not unlike opening a "New Window"
in Excel or Word, another useful feature when needed. So what if anything can
I do? Thanks.

Hi Inobugs,

I open multiple windows in another way.

I click on the inbox, right mouseclick/"open in a new window"

I can do this for every folder in Outlook, so I can have 5 and more windows
open from the same Outlook.

Does it work also in your Outlook?

Oliver,
Thanks for the information, I was unaware of the right-click to open a new
window feature. It works well.
