Hello All,

Does anyone know (from a legal standpoint) how many users can connect to a
Windows XP Professional workstation?

It seems to me that back in the days of NT4 there was a "10 users in 10
minutes" rule.. Anything more than that and you should use NT Server.

Does a similar rule apply to XP, or can as many users connect as you want?

(By "connect," I mean connecting via the network to shared resources.)

Thanks,
Brian

For Windows XP Professional, the maximum number of other computers
that are permitted to simultaneously connect over the network is ten (10).
This limit includes all transports and resource sharing protocols combined.
