Is there a maximum number of Undos/Redos in Word 2003 or is it based on a
measurement, like 32 Mb? Thanks.

In theory it's all the way back to the last document save - I'm not sure if
it's limited by available memory but I suspect not as Word will write
temporary files when it needs to - I suppose, if that is so, it is
ultimately limited by available disk space!!

Actually, you can Undo past a save, theoretically back to when you opened
the doc. The Undo list isn't cleared until you close.

I'm not aware of any real limit other than available disk space. (One of
many reasons for never working with a document on a floppy!)

I just undid past two saves and a "save as" including several macros that
made major text changes. It went back to when I first opened the original
document. Once you close a document, though, the Undo list is cleared, I
believe.
